This guide details how to use the Sports Hall Sound System at Bideford College.
How to operate the sound system for audio playback
1.1 Turning on the sound system
The rack in the Sports Hall plant cupboard must be switched on to operate the system
Open the audio control cabinet - this is locate on the right hand wall as you enter the Sports Hall next to the bleacher seating. A key can be obtained from the FM team.
Login to the touch panel using the code 2580, once logged in you will see the screen as displayed below
1.2 Pairing a Bluetooth device
From the home page select the 'Pair' option by pressing the bluetooth icon
On the following screen select 'Pair Now'
From your devices bluetooth menu select the Bluetooth-SportsHall connection
You will be prompted for a connection code, at this point enter '0000'
1.3 Selecting a sound source
Press the mixer icon to return to the main menu
In the global 'System audio On/Off' control, please ensure this is set to 'Audio ON"
There is an option to activate/deactivate the rear speakers if you are using the the whole hall or just for presentation use (with bleacher seating).
There is an option to plugin a standard 3.5mm jack cable or twin phono (L & R) if your device doesn't support bluetooth
There is also a USB charge port for your mobile device
From the main menu select the correct source option either Phono, Jack or Blutooth
The mixer control will adjust the input volume
The mute selection will mute the input
1.4 Shutting down the system
Once you have finished using the sound system in the global 'System audio On/Off' control, please ensure this is set to 'Audio OFF"
Disconnect your device from the either the bluetooth menu on your device, phono or jack cables
Lock the AV panel and return the key to the FM team
