1. Initial Setup - How to Set the Save location for recordings from iVMS
When first running this iVMS software to get recordings downloaded you must set the Save location manually. You only need to do this once.
The following video will show you the steps (there is no sound)
Launch iVMS from start menu
Go to Tools > System Configuration > File > Change the saving path of Videos and Pictures to a folder in your documents.

2. Getting a Recording
Once in iVMS, from the Control panel tab, open the "Main view" to see the live cameras.
To view all of them, double click the "A Block" group - This may help you select the correct camera in the next step.
Go back to the control panel tab, go to Remote playback.
Select the camera that you want to get the recording from, then click the calendar
Pick the Day on the end and start calendars, then ok
Click and drag the camera from the left menu onto a window
On the right hand side you have time stamped clips which may get you closer to the time that you need.
Use the time bar at the bottom to click and drag to a desired time.
To get the recording, on the camera feed, find the little red record button. Press again to stop recording.
A pop up in the bottom right will tell you if it saved correctly
Open file explorer and find the save location you set in initial setup. The video will be in a dated folder.
Move the video/s to the evidence folder, then please delete from your documents to save space.
