It is important to ensure that you are logged in to your Bideford College email account when trying to access Bromcom. This is for SSO (Google Single Sign On Feature).
1. Implementation Notes - March 2025
1.1 Direct Web Portal & Intranet Integration
We've implemented direct links to Bromcom within both the staff portal on our school website and our internal staff intranet page. This provides quick and easy access to Bromcom, eliminating the need for manual navigation.Â
1.2 Extended Session Timeout
To improve productivity and redue interruptions, the session timeout has been increased from 10 minutes to 120 minutes. This allows for extended work periods without the worry of automatic logouts during tasks.
1.3 Mobile Accessibility via QR Code:
You can link the Mobile App, 'Bromcom Teacher App' to your school account via the QR Code which can be found in 'My Account' on the Bromcom website.

Please note that whilst this App is called 'Bromcom Teacher App', this can be used by all Staff, not just Teachers.
