Program of Study
The Art program of study introduces learners to the visual art of drawing. The learners will develop cognitive functioning, aesthetic and cultural awareness, and creativity during this course of study. Learners will be able to demonstrate a superior level of performance in drawing at the conclusion of this program of study.

Capstone Experience
Students at the conclusion of the Art Program of Study have the opportunity to provide a portfolio of 8-10 pieces of work for display in the annual Bellville ISD Spring Art Show. This showcase highlights some of the best work from our Bellville High School artists. This real world experience can help prepare them for a career in art as an artist, art consultant or curator/art gallery director.
