Modeling the SketchUp Step Box Logo & Introduction to 3D Printing 

Objective:

 Students will learn how to model the SketchUp Step Box Logo using SketchUp for Schools and understand basic techniques for creating a model suitable for 3D printing.

Assignment & Submission (15 minutes)

1. Take two screenshots of the completed model:

   • One in progress

   • One final version

2. Upload both screenshots to your Google Site.

3. Write a short reflection (3-5 sentences) on what you learned, including any challenges you faced and how you solved them.

Assessment & Grading Criteria:

✅ Model Completion (40%) - Successfully built the Step Box Logo with correct proportions
✅ Screenshots Uploaded (30%) - Two clear images showing progress and final model
✅ Reflection (20%) - Brief written explanation of learning experience
✅ Neatness & Accuracy (10%) - Clean edges and correct tool usage
