Activity 1: Understanding the Invention Process (20 minutes):
Presentation: Use a whiteboard or chart paper to list and explain the key steps in the invention process, which typically include:
Identifying a Problem: Recognizing a need or a problem that requires a solution.
Research: Gathering information about the problem and existing solutions.
Conceptualizing: Developing ideas and possible solutions.
Designing: Creating detailed plans or drawings of the proposed invention.
Building a Prototype: Making a working model of the invention.
Testing and Refining: Trying out the prototype, noting problems, and making improvements.
Patenting: Protecting the invention with a patent.
Manufacturing: Producing the invention on a larger scale.
Marketing: Promoting and selling the invention.
