Administrator for Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment
Stafford Boyd joined BSD in August 2024 and serves as Administrator for Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment. Prior to joining BSD he served as a district administrator, a program administrator for virtual learning, a high school principal, assistant principal, dean of students, and teacher. Stafford has degrees from the University of California, Davis and The University of Denver. He is excited to support engaging and equitable learning, amplify bright spots, and remove barriers for staff so that they can best serve our students.
STEVE SIMPSON
Digital Curriculum TOSA
Steve Simpson taught grades 3-5 for 15 years and has worked in Beaverton since 2004. In 2015 Steve got his Doctorate in Educational Methodology, Policy, and Leadership. He works closely with IT to help support classroom digital tools, application rostering, KickUP, and is a part of the software review committee. Steve loves looking for solutions to tricky problems.

Program Specialist, Digital Curriculum
Carrie Sutton was a Registrar in the BSD for 6+ years and spent the first part of her career working in Marketing in the private sector. She is a University of Oregon alumni (Go Ducks!), nature lover, and likes to spend her free time exploring the awesome local food scene with her husband and friends. She is excited to help support teachers and staff with their digital learning needs!
