Primary Responsibilities
Academic Counseling - course registration, scheduling, placement, credit recovery, etc.
Career and College Counseling - post-secondary planning and development, college application process, etc.
Create and implement interventions and social/interpersonal techniques for at-risk students
Liaison and referrals to district and community support agencies and resources
Lead or participate in IEP and 504 referrals, plans, and meetings
Attend to the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students in their caseload
Coordinate with the school nurse about student health needs
