B-EHS Graduation Requirements

At B-EHS, students are encouraged to create schedules that challenge them academically, help them develop new areas of interest, and that spark their curiosity and creativity.  To help students choose such classes, counselors meet with every student in the spring to discuss their options and to help them register for classes.

In order to earn a B-EHS diploma, students need to complete all required coursework with a grade of “D” or better, earn the required 30 credits (6 credits more than what WA state requires), as well as complete satisfactorily all other WA state requirements.

Tracking Progress toward Graduation

Counselors help students understand the high school credit system, provide information regarding graduation requirements, and assist in accessing credit retrieval options.  Students and families are ultimately responsible for monitoring credits, grades, and progress toward graduation.  Each semester, students will have the opportunity to monitor their progress in their Advisory/Seminar class.  In addition, during the Student-Led Conferences in fall and spring they will review their current progress with a parent or guardian.  Students and parents also have access to student progress on their High School and Beyond Plan and Skyward, under the "Graduation Requirements" tab.
