CERAMICS
Nesting Pinch Pots
For my pinch pot trio, I chose to do all of the parts of an eye. The pots all nest into one another and the iris is turned upsidedown.
Pinch Pot Set
Halloween is my family's favorite holiday to decorate and particpate in for years. My mom especially and this is a gift for her to decorate with, since her birthday is around Halloween.
Abstract Sculpture
The sculpture represents a fire. The choice of colors and shape also symbolize a flame.

Slab Form
I put four slabs together for this project rather than three to make it more of a square shape. I wanted it to look like a sunrise to match the design on the slabs.
Coil Vessel
My coil vessel is based on Athena's Temple. I created a snake going up the side of the temple to represent the untold story of Medusa.
DRAWING & PAINTING
Reduction Printmaking
For my reduction print, I decided to print mushrooms. I chose these because I thought they would be simple and the colors would work together nicely.
For the patriotic pop art project, I decided to paint Rosie the Riveter. I used watercolor to challenge myself. I got inspiration from Yayoi Kusama's artwork for the setup of my piece.
Chiaroscuro Portrait
This portrait is of Sara Sigmundsd'ottir. I had alot of challenges while making this portrait but I had a good time. It was all done with charcoal and an eraser. I made the paper all black and then erased out the entire face.
Patriotic Pop Art
I explored gender stereotypes using paint and collage in a piece inspired by Pop Artist Marisol Escobar.
Tessellation
For this project I drew fish with unique designs. I shaded different areas and blended my colored pencils to achieve the final look.
Chiaroscuro Portrait
For this project I drew a woman wearing a scarf around her head. Half of her face is in shaded from the shadow her scarf creates. I used charcoal and erasers for this project!
