History is being made everyday and Junior Zack Schuster at Badin High School is most intrigued by the real occurrences that happened in the past and epic events happening everyday. Schuster mentioned he is intrigued by all memorable and shocking events that occurred in the endless timeline of history.
There are too many intriguing events to count that happened in our world and currently being made today. Schuster was questioned to narrow down a specific time in history that he most enjoyed.
“Probably the 1950’s because of family starting to come around.”
To be able to experience an event in the past would be mind blowing and Schuster was asked if he could witness any event in time, where would he visit.
“I’d probably want to go back to the 1900’s like the Roaring 20’s and with the flapper dresses.”
Schuster’s overflowing interest in history inspired him to one day become a history teacher. He plans on attending the University of Alabama.
“It’s a very welcoming, warm environment and the sun is always out. I was down in the south and in Alabama when I was a kid and just always liked the environment.” Schuster stated.
His interest of the subject grew over time, and he was questioned which teacher had the most impact on him.
“In grade school my seventh grade History teacher. I just really connected and really liked the subject.” He also affirmed his former history teachers at Badin; Charles Mignery and Paul Zimmerman.
English teacher Mrs. Katie Maciulewicz rendered what she thought was Schuster’s strongest personality quality.
“He is very enthusiastic and into things.” In his hopes of becoming a history teacher, Mrs. Maciulewicz stated her thoughts of him becoming a history teacher in the near future.
“Yes, he has a lot of enthusiasm and can lead a class. He can bring passion to a classroom.”
Interviewing Senior Alexis Berkley who also attends Badin High School, was questioned how Schuster impacts others around him. “Always making people laugh and smile, a good at conversation starter and helps out a lot,” stated Alexis. “He has a very infectious smile and a is a good friend.”
Junior Ashlynn Hillman commented on how she would describe Schuster’s personality and qualities.
“I’d describe him as an extrovert, opinionated, and outgoing.” Ashlynn complied. “He is very outgoing and athletic.”
Developing Schuster’s ongoing passion about the subject, he was asked how the events grab his attention and thoughts.
“I don’t know, I guess it’s just learning about real things that actually happened in the world,” Schuster implied, “I really didn’t decide when history was my favorite subject, but it just progressed over the years and the interest just built up.”
Zack Schuster hopes to progress in learning about the real and historical events in the future, and always proceed to accomplish his goals.
