An Open House for a private school is a very important thing. Badin’s Open House is one of the schools most important events. The future of Badin relies on the success of this Open House.
Badin has it annual Open House on Nov. 4, 2018 this year and the date is looming. With final preparations being made, Badin’s public relations team has their hands full.
“This year there are small no major changes,” says Mr. Dirk Allen.
With only small changes and enrollment rising, Badin’s Open House is a success all thanks to Mrs. Angie Gray and Badin’s Ambassadors.
“Mrs. Angie Gray really bird dogs our open house, we tweak it each year, we get a good review with our open house. The building always looks great,” says Allen.
Gray gets high praise, but she is not the only one who makes the Open House successful. Badin’s PR team has multiple advertisements that help get the name Badin out there.
“We have a graphic designer for each poster green screen,” says Gray,
Badin uses these posters to send recruiting cards and to make billboards.
“A wide net in where we send recruiting postcards, buy a zip code list with addresses,” added Allen.
The date Nov. 4 was chosen because it falls shadow season and before the High School Placement Test. Allen said the Open House is a significant event and other schools are very tight lipped about it.
“We don't talk about about open house dates with other schools like Fenwick and Roger Bacon,” says Gray.
Badin’s Open House is Nov. 4.
