Noah Tincher, a star pitcher, is “heating” up on the mound. At Stephen T. Badin, the baseball player is striking people out one after the next.
I had the opportunity to talk to Noah about his baseball career and what he hopes for the future.
“Vandy has the best college ball team in the nation,” Tincher said when asked about why he wants to go to Vanderbilt.
Noah’s dream of the MLB began when he just a kid playing little league. He always enjoyed the sport especially when he was playing for his little league team.
”I played for XBA, Xtreme Baseball Academy, in grade school,” said Tincher.
Tincher had high praise for XBA, saying it was great preparation for high school ball.
He was introduced to baseball as a young child by his family. His family introduced him to the sport.
“My grandpa played in the minor leagues for a few years, it’s really cool.”
His family helped him learn the sport. His dad has helped his with pitching throughout his whole life. Noah credits his genes that made him a great baseball player.
“I’m a lefty,” Tincher said. “I’m thankful because being a lefty is really helpful in baseball.”
