The uniform has changed a lot through the years at Badin. From the 1960’s to present, the uniform has been a constant throughout Badin.
The uniform has been a topic of controversy throughout the history of Badin, as many students have wanted to get rid of them. Mr. Pendergest, the Principal, has not thought too hard about the uniforms, as he thinks they are good for right now.
”I haven’t thought too hard about the uniforms, we bring it up every year during the summer, but no drastic changes have been made in the past,” said Pendergest.
There have been changes to the uniforms in the past but for some safety and style reasons, the uniforms have changed.
”We had Badin hoodies in the past. They didn’t look very formal, and we wanted to get away from things with extra pockets that students could possibly put dangerous items in.”
Uniforms at Badin have certainly evolved throughout, but we can all agree that the uniforms that we have now are far superior to uniforms in the past.
”Yes, I think that it has improved greatly over the past few years, in terms of style and comfort.”
Things have certainly changed over the years at Badin. But uniforms have been, and will be a staple. The evolution of the uniform is essential, as it brings new style to Badin high.
