Nick Browning, a 2013 Badin graduate, has come back to teach gym and health at his alma mater.

“I’m very thankful and I love how welcoming everyone is,” Browning said.

The new teacher is back to the place where he belongs and is loving every minute of it.

“Right now, in gym, we are learning about the NFL combine. My class is learning about 40 yard dash and the shuttle drill,” said Browning.

The football fanatic says he uses gym to teach the sport to his students.

When asked about coaching, Browning says, “hopefully I will be able to coach football next year.”

Nick was a four year football and baseball player at Badin. His baseball skills were able to get the attention of Mount Saint Joe's.

“I played four years of baseball at Mount Saint Joe’s,” said Browning.

The baseball star had hopes of the league but says they are all over now. His dream now is earning his next degree at the University of Cincinnati.

Finally, for the most important answer yet: no.

“No, Ms. Golden and I are not a couple. Sorry to disappoint, ” Browning said.
