Immediately after faculty have chosen classes for an upcoming semester, they selected textbooks. The books are chosen from an official list that has been compiled by the Textbook Committee and has been approved by the faculty. To view a list of all approved textbooks for all CLS courses please see the department website or the list below. Desk copies are available in the department administrative assistant’s office.
Around the same time you accept your classes, you will receive an email from a CLS administrative assistant containing the Google Form you will use to make your textbook selections. When you have chosen the textbooks for your class, fill out the Google Form and submit it to the department. To complete the form, you will need bibliographical information, along with the course names and synonyms of each section you are teaching.
Faculty may also choose Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) and use Open Educational Resources in lieu of a textbook.
