Online Teaching
Online Teaching
Faculty that are interested in teaching online should consult the Distance Education Handbook, Administrative Policies & Faculty Requirements, and the department chair to learn about online course availability. Several options are available for those that want to be certified to teach online:
CLS Blackboard Certification process (in development as of 4/26/2023)
Faculty have the option of completing the internal CLS Blackboard certification process as an alternative to QM. However, one of the two options must be selected and completed prior to online teaching.
Faculty must also complete the procedures for Amending Eligibility Status (see Eligibility section) upon completing training.
