Willa Sabelko 

Willa Sabelko is a senior and a first-year journalism student. She enjoys reading, writing, going on outdoor adventures, and spending time with her friends and family. She has an older brother named Isak, whom she loves spending time with. He is 21 years old and is studying computer science at Kent State University. Willa is dedicated to the band program, playing oboe during concert season and clarinet during marching season. No matter how busy, she always finds time for her pets: a Maine coon named Nala and a Havanese named Finn. Furthermore, Willa wouldn’t be complete without Harry Styles’ music, the Netflix series The 100, Starbucks’ strawberry açaí, or koalas. Her favorite subject is English, and she aspires to become an English teacher living comfortably in California in the future.
