Why you should ditch Ming's and start going to LuCha Bubble Tea.

By Maddie Lancon

Are you tired of Ming's boring and giant menu? Are you wanting to try bubble tea but you're too nervous to get the wrong thing? Then LuCha is your place, there is no wrong way to go.

LuCha Bubble Tea is a relatively new bubble tea store that opened in Aurora during 2022, with the philosophy of, “Handcrafted, natural, and healthy.’’ LuCha primarily focuses on teas and using new unique ways of making them.

Are you more of a sweet person? Then you'll love their expansive menu of sugar milk and fruit teas. From Brown sugar milk tea (no actual tea) to a Mango Pomelo Sago tea slush with cheese foam, there is no shortage of basic teas with fun and tasty additives.

Milk tea is a big part of their menu. There are plenty of options to choose from, all of them good, might I add. My personal favorite from this side of the menu has to be the Taro and Oats with milk. Maybe you don't drink dairy products, don't worry! There's an entire fruit based menu! All made with fresh fruit, this is one refreshing way to check out this store. If looking for a new fun flavor to add to your pallet is something you're interested in, make sure to head to LuCha.

Speaking of their fruit teas, they're made in house! Using fresh fruits of your choice in the tea they muddle them down to get those fresh flavors we all love so much. If you mind pulp maybe stay away from the fruit teas, but they're so good you won't even notice. Are you wanting a more interesting way of drinking your fruit tea? Try their tea slushes. These chilly teas are a great way to cool down and a great way to mask the pulp so many of us don't enjoy.

Hungry while you're there? LuCha’s got it under wraps, unlike Ming’s, LuCha has plenty of sweet and savory snacks to purchase along with your drinks while there. Egg tarts, garlic cheese breads, and matcha cake strawberry rolls are just a few of the amazing treats to look forward to while there. Not to mention their amazing prices. Most of their teas are priced at around six dollars, and comes with about 12 ounces of tea to sip on in the cutest cups!

If you're looking for a new experience, or maybe just a new bubble tea shop because Ming’s has been letting you down lately, look no further than LuCha Bubble Tea. Located right next to Papous and the post office, you don't even have to go far for these great drinks!
