ACADEMIC PROCESSES
There are several Academic Procedures that scholars may go through during their stay in the Ateneo. Which procedure/s you'll go through depends on various circumstances, mainly a scholar's program of choice and Individual Program of Study (IPS).
CHANGES IN THE PROGRAM OF STUDY
WHAT TO DO: Write a letter addressed to Jose Maria Edito K. Tirol, PhD, Director of the Office of Admission and Aid. Affix your name, ID number, contact number, and signature. The letter must also be noted by a parent/guardian. Submit the letter with your revised Individual Program of Study (IPS). Submit your letter to our Google Form by clicking the button below.
Overloads and intersession classes necessitated due to the shifting of courses, withdrawal from a subject, and failures are NOT covered by the scholarship.
DOST Scholars are required to first secure the permission of the DOST-SEI Director if shifting to another program.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE (LOA)
WHAT TO DO: A scholar who wishes to apply for a Leave of Absence must first submit a letter addressed to the OAA Director before processing the forms with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Affix your name, ID number, contact number, and signature. The letter must also be noted by a parent/guardian. Submit your letter to our Google Form by clicking the button below.
Kindly note that overload and intersession classes necessitated due to leave of absence will NOT be covered by the scholarship grant.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE ATENEO
A Financial Aid scholar who decides to withdraw from the Loyola Schools for non-medical and/or non-academic reasons is required to reimburse the Ateneo with the amount of the grant received during the last semester he/she was officially enrolled (including intersession term, if applicable). Official documents from the Ateneo will be put on hold until such reimbursement has been completely settled.
To begin your withdrawal from Ateneo, please coordinate with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Registrars Office.
IMPORTANT NOTE: General procedures imposed by the Ateneo should be undertaken by the scholar, aside from the specific procedures stated above.
