A scholar may avail of a DOST Scholarship and the Ateneo Scholarship at the same time.
For scholars with a 100% scholarship from Ateneo and who is also a recipient of the DOST-SEI scholarship, the Php 20,000 tuition benefit from DOST-SEI will be deducted from your tuition and fees and the remaining balance will be covered by your Ateneo scholarship.
On top of this, you will also receive your book allowance, travel reimbursement, and monthly stipends from DOST-SEI.
If the Ateneo tuition grant is less than 100%, the scholar may still avail of the DOST partial tuition of Php 20,000 per semester (or Php 40,000 per year) together with the other benefits from DOST-SEI.

The DOST-OAA Team verifies all submissions on the 10th and 25th day of each month. Checking and approval involves the following:
Evaluating each scholar's grades
Finalizing each scholar's scholarship status
Manual checking of each submitted document
Verifying the accuracy of bank account numbers
Sending reminders to noncompliant scholars
Verifying list of eligible scholars
The list (i.e., payroll) will then be forwarded to DOST-SEI on the 15th and 30th day of the month. The DOST-SEI checks and approves the list for one week.
The DOST-SEI will then forward the approved list to the Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) for processing. It takes one to two weeks before the stipend gets deposited to the scholars' accounts.
Will the DOST-OAA Team be able to know the specific date of release?
No. The DOST-OAA Team receives no information regarding the specific date of release.
The scholars, however, are expected to check their bank accounts from time to time. They are also advised to enroll their accounts in Landbank's mobile banking app (iAccess mobile app).
