Through scholarship awards to financially-challenged and deserving students, the Ateneo de Manila University wishes to actively share in the training of next generation of our nation leaders. Scholars are therefore encouraged to take part in various service-oriented programs, either during their stay in the university or after graduation.
During your stay in the Ateneo, volunteer for these Programs or Organizations.
The Office for Social Concern and Involvement (OSCI) of the Ateneo heads all student social formation programs. OSCI aims to promote social awareness through experiential learning, to serve the marginalized sectors, and to integrate service-learning in the academic discipline. Some of the programs participated by students are the INTACT, NSTP, JEEP, and Immersion/PRAXIS. Visit their website or email them at osci.ateneo@gmail.com for more details about the program for SY2022-2023.
Students are encouraged to join students organizations under the Sector-based Cluster of the Council of Organizations of Ateneo. These organizations typically partner with different external groups to provide services to underprivileged areas and communities in need.
After you Graduate, Volunteer or Donate to these Groups
The Ateneo Giving Page is a site that consolidates all the causes that people can donate to in the Ateneo. It details how you can donate as well as how your donation will be used. If you are interested to help the Ateneo and its deserving causes, click the button below to visit the site.
AASA is one of the leading benefactors of the Ateneo College Scholarship program. It is an Association of ADMU Alumni Scholars who wish to help deserving students receive the gift of an Ateneo education.
Upon graduation, scholars are highly encouraged to donate or volunteer in programs for the benefit of the Scholars-for-Scholars-Scholarship Fund (SSSF) of the AASA. To encourage alumni scholars to donate as early as they can, every graduating scholar is gifted with a piggy bank by the AASA before they leave the university. They are encouraged to return these piggy banks as soon as they are filled-up and it will serve as their first donation to the fund.
However, there are other ways for you to donate to AASA and its cause. For more information, visit their website or send an email to asf-aasa@affiliate.ateneo.edu. If you are interested to donate, download the donation infographics for GCash and/or the Ateneo Giving Page below.
Current scholars can also work in the AASA for their Service Hours or apply as a Student Assistant. If you are interested to volunteer in the AASA through this means, please contact Ms. Lidel Bajao at this email address: rbajao@ateneo.edu
The JVP community dedicates itself to nation-building through volunteerism and service in marginalized and underprivileged areas.
