Steps to Submit Teacher Waiver to Receive In-State Tuition


Are you classified as a Non-Resident for tuition purposes, pursuing a program that leads to initial teacher certification, and working full time in an Arizona public school, an approved Arizona charter school, or an approved Arizona private school? If so, you can receive in-state tuition rates through the Teacher Waiver


Please keep the following in mind:


 **Please be advised that an approved Teacher Waiver will reduce your charges owed to ASU but it could also reduce your financial aid eligibility. If you notice any adjustments to your financial aid awards after your waiver has been processed, please contact the ASU Financial Aid office, 855-278-5080.**

Step 1 – Complete Online Questionnaire


Step 2 – Upload Documentation 


Once you have submitted your Online Questionnaire, you will be directed to upload your supporting documentation to the Residency Petition Dashboard and click “submit” no later than the posted documentation deadline:
