Seesaw has created a series of webinars that bring a computer science expert to your room via webinar.
Click HERE to register for a 15-20 minute webinar (various topics and grade levels) and then tune in with your class at the designated time and date (by clicking on a link they will send you).
They even have follow up activities in the Activity Library to help reinforce student learning.
Do you wish you could bring the outside world into your classroom? In many ways, you can. Google Expeditions has been providing us with loads of Virtual Reality experiences for years. (For those who haven't done it before, you just have to contact with with a subject in mind and I will find a VR trip and bring the VR goggles to your classroom to do the experience with your kids).
You may not know, however, that the catalog of Augmented Reality experiences in Google Expeditions is growing by leaps and bounds. This video shows you what I am talking about. Aside from having students do these AR experiences with iPads, you could have them take pictures (hold down the home button and power button together to take a screen shot) of them with the AR object. Then they could upload it into Seesaw and voice over what information they know about it after writing a scrip of document of their thinking. (think extreme weather, Civil War, pollination or any other topic you want to come alive).
