Have you ever wanted to work on your computer while your students watch/view something else you have for them? Aside from freezing your projector, Windows has a simple solution. Press the Windows Key and P key at the same time. The “Project” menu will appear. There are four types of display methods that can be chosen.
Extending your desktop isn't just helpful, it is best practice. Having your desktop messages showing up on your projector screen for the class to see is less than desirable. Get in the habit of extending your display and students won't see that anymore.
