All teacher candidates in the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Department of Special Education are required to successfully complete Clinical Practice prior to recommendation for a Credential and conferral of a Master's Degree. In order to participate in Clinical Practice, teacher candidates must:
Be an active student in the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or the Department of Special Education prior to submitting a Clinical Practice Application.
Complete all required coursework in Modules 1-5, with a grade of B- or better.
If a course is not passed with a B- or higher in the term directly prior to Clinical Practice, placement and/or participation will be canceled until the coursework clearance requirement is met.
Apply for Clinical Practice by the term deadline
Submit all required documents for Clinical Practice.
