AP Studio Art

Course Description

This class follows the course framework provided by the College Board’s AP Art Curriculum Guide. Specifically, we focus on developing the artistic skills of:

• Artistic Inquiry and Investigation

• Artistic Experimentation, Practice and Revision

• Communication and Reflection

Students learn about contemporary artists, set artistic goals for creative development, and complete portfolio artworks throughout the year. Students are encouraged to take the AP Studio Art Exam in May.
