"How can I make people feel emotions through an art piece?" That is the question I was thinking of when I was going through with my AP art portfolio. This whole school year I've been struggling with a lot of different emotions ranging from good to bad. Having an outlet where I can express these emotions definitely helped me get through this prosses. I want people to feel something when they look at my artwork, I want people to feel how I was feeling at the time of painting these art pieces. To have the ability to create nothing out of something is what I love about art
How I am trying to make people feel emotions when they see my art is by making very common phobias that a majority of people have. For example, in art piece, "Beast" I wanted people to feel like they're being hunted down by this huge beast. Another example to make people feel emotion in in art piece, "I SEE YOU" I made the canvas into a circle as if you are looking out the window seeing this clown figure standing very animus. I tried to make all of my art pieces have a sort of darkish color or tint to them to add that fear factor.
