Welcome to Art 1. This course introduces students to foundational concepts, skills, and techniques necessary to create and analyze art. In this class we will focus on the following components:
Learning art vocabulary and art concepts.
Applying foundational skills in a variety of art media.
Identifying the Elements and Principles of Art & Design.
Describing and analyzing art and art-making processes.
Creating and displaying art.
