Course Description

Welcome to Drawing & Painting. This course introduces students to drawing and painting techniques and offers the opportunity to practice, sketch, design, and create. Advanced students will continue to develop and refine their artistic skills. 

In this class we will focus on the following components:

• Experimenting with a variety of painting and drawing media.

• Developing skills in observation and drawing from life.

• Understanding art contexts.

• Analyzing and writing about art.

• Creating and displaying original works of art.
