Art Club

The VVHS Art Club is an open club for any students who would like to be involved in art. The VVHS art club promotes art and creativity at VVHS.  Any student is welcome to join. Meetings are on Wednesdays at lunch in the Art Room. For more information, contact one of the club sponsors:

National Art Honor Society

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is designed to inspire and recognize students who have shown a demonstrated ability and interest in art. The NAHS strives to aid its members in attaining the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service, and to bring art education and awareness to the attention of the school and community. In order to qualify for membership, a student must meet the following requirements:

• have completed 1 semester of a high school art class

• have a 3.0 or higher average GPA in all art classes

• have a 2.0 or higher average GPA in all other classes

• be a student in good standing, enrolled in at least 4 classes, and no more than one F in any class

• demonstrate scholarship, service, and character, especially in the arts

There is a $10 registration fee for the National Art Honor Society.
