Art Club
The VVHS Art Club is an open club for any students who would like to be involved in art. The VVHS art club takes field trips, puts together art shows, sales and fundraisers, and has completed several murals in the school. The official club roster is determined at the 2nd club meeting of the year. Students may join at any time but will not be listed in the official Club Roster. Meetings are on Wednesdays at lunch. National Art Honor Society
The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is designed to inspire and recognize students who have shown a demonstrated ability and interest in art. The NAHS strives to aid its members in attaining the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service, and to bring art education and awareness to the attention of the school and community. In order to qualify for membership, a student must meet the following requirements:
have completed 1 semester of a high school art class
have a 3.0 or higher average GPA in all art classes
have a 2.0 or higher average GPA in all other classes
be a student in good standing, enrolled in at least 4 classes, and no more than one F in any class
be recommended by an art teacher
demonstrate scholarship, service, and character, especially in the arts
There is a $10 registration fee for the National Art Honor Society.

AP Portfolio Submission
AP Portfolios are submitted for grading the first week of May. The portfolio submission is the AP Exam.
