What is Physics?

"In this class we get an understanding for motion, forces, energy, heat, sound, light, and the basic composition of matter. We will learn these things by completing large scale, rich, complex, projects." These projects will use research, labs, building things, and more. So far we have completed the rocket project (learn more below) and are moving onto our next unit!

SLC Grade Reflection

I currently have a 100 (an A) I am happy with this grade. I think it shows that I have been doing my work and paying attention. To keep this grade and get the most out of this class I can keep paying attention, having a good attitude and trying to get the most out of labs etc. and work with my groups.

DP Copy Rocket Project Final Write Up - Mia Bonanno

Rocket Project

During this project we completed multiple prototype bottle rockets with the goal to build one that both went high and safely descended with a parachute. We used soda bottles as a base to create rockets we designed with blueprints, research, and more. We also completed EDP journals and at the end of the project applied our knowledge to write our final rocket write up explaining the physics and math behind a rocket flight.
