My work explores the absence of a person and the memory that stays behind when they are no longer physically here. Based on the memory of my Grandmother, I have found ways in which traces of a person can be found in their home environment and the shared memory of loved ones. Personifying inanimate objects and interiors leads to the complex exploration of grieving and human emotion.
