My work explores methods of abstraction, and how stimuli such as nature can create spontaneous structures. These allow me to experiment with the dynamic representation of space and depth on a 2D surface inspired by the pioneers of the post war abstract movement. as well as the impressionistic studies from the Romantics such as Delacroix.
