• Parents/caregivers should be in contact with the School Nurse and the student's teachers about your child's condition

• An Action Plan and Emergency Evacuation Plan will be created for your child with the help of their provider

• Education and training will be provided to school staff who will be incontact with you child

• Rescue medication should be in a designated, well known spot for quick use if needed

• Parents/caregivers are responsible for updating the School Nurse on any care changes in care that affect school

Seizure Action Plans can help organize your seizure information and have it available when and where it's needed. A prepared plan can help everyone know what to do to prevent an emergency or tell others what to do in emergency situations.
