As of January 2025, AGWSR’s Ackley Campus and Middle School have earned the Heart Safe School Designation through Project ADAM and the University of Iowa, reflecting a strong commitment to safety and rapid medical response.
Each campus has a trained team that responds similarly to EMS, using established protocols to provide immediate, skilled care until emergency services arrive. While focused on cardiac events, these teams are equipped to handle all medical emergencies and major injuries, with access to student Emergency Plans for individualized care.
When every second matters, our staff is ready.
