No new forms needed. Unless forms are missing from Kindergarten or your child is enrolling for the first time (see KDG list).
It is still recommended you schedule a yearly well child visit.
It is good practice to turn in a new signed Immunization Certificate every time your child receives a new shot.
If your child was up to date on their shots last year, they are good again this year.
If your child has an exemption form on file, these do not expire.
Dental Screenings with fluoride and sealant applications are offered for all 4th graders, free of charge by Public Health.
A consent form must be completed for your child to receive this screening/application.
More information will be sent out closer to the date, which is TBD at this time.
Each spring the 4th grade classes take a bike ride from the school to Prairie Bridges.
A letter with more details and a permission slip will be sent out closer to the date.
Prior to the ride, they will spend time with Safe Route To School volunteers learning about ABC quick check, helmet safety, route planning/emergencies, trail etiquette, and group riding & signals.
Your child may bring their bike and helmet (required) to ride the day of. They may also want to bring a water bottle, a light jacket/sweatshirt, sun glasses, and must wear close-toed shoes.
There will be a few bikes students may borrow the day of if your child doesn't have a bike, or getting one to school that day doesn't work for you.
If your child does not know how to ride a bike, they will stay back and do a fun activity while their class is gone.
No scooters/rollerblades/skateboards are allowed for this event. They simply cannot keep up with the group and using them on the gravel trails at the park is very challenging.
