Free School Meals at Tendring Technology College
Students receive Free Schools Meals where their family receive certain welfare benefits. Families eligible for Free School Meals receive any of the following benefits:
Income Support
Income-based Job Seeker's Allowance
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
The Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
Child Tax Credit, provided you are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual income (as assessed by HM Revenue & Customs) that does not exceed ÂŁ16,190
Working Tax Credit 'run-on' - the payment someone may receive for a further four weeks after they stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
Universal Credit - you must annually take home ÂŁ7,400 or less in Universal Credit payments. This equals an average of ÂŁ616.67 per month in net earned income (after deductions).

Places where children can eat free during College Holidays
Kids eat free all day, every day in Morrisons Cafes nationwide, daily from 3pm with every adult meal over ÂŁ4.99. This offer is extented to all day during half term.
Kids eat for ÂŁ1, all day every day with no adult spend required. This offer has been extended until the end of the year
2 Kid's eat free with a paying adult un-limited breakfast deal. 25% discount for blue light card holders.

Emotional & Physical Health at Tendring Technology College
The emotional and physical health and well being of all members of Tendring Technology College are fundamental within the ethos of the school where learning can flourish, enabling pupils to become independent responsible citizens. We believe that pupils who are mentally healthy will be able to:
Develop psychologically, emotionally, creatively, intellectually and spiritually
Become aware of others and empathise with them
Sustain personal relationships
Develop a sense of right and wrong
Face challenges, resolve issues and setbacks and learn from them
Develop resilience, resourcefulness and capacity to work collaboratively
We are always here to help and support our students, parents and staff when they are struggling. We can often provide direct support or in the event where more in-depth support is required we can signpost or refer in the right direction.

Termly TTC Wellbeing Fayre
Each term we will be offering parents and students the opportunity to attend our TTC Wellbeing Fayre. Local providers will be on hand along with our own safeguarding team to offer support and advise to those in need. Here are some pictures from our inaugral event in December 2022
