Key Stage 3 


The following subjects are compulsory at KS3

English, maths, science, art and design, citizenship, computing, design and technology, languages, geography, history, music, physical education, religious education and sex and relationships education.

PSHE and careers is also delivered through the tutor programme and drop down days. 


Key Stage 4

The following subjects are compulsory at KS4:

English, maths, science, citizenship, computing, RE and sex and relationships education.

As well as the above, schools must offer at least one course from each of the four entitlement areas and students must have the opportunity to take a course in all four areas should they wish.

1. The arts – art and design, music, dance, drama and media arts

2. Design and technology

3. Humanities – Geography and history

4. Modern foreign language 

Cm (My Community)  will teach RE, citizenship, sex and relationships and the computing requirement.

We also deliver the PSHE and careers agenda through the tutor program and drop down days.

Science triples will get 9+1 in Year 11, but 9 in year 10.  The extra lesson comes from CM.

Alternative curriculum students will get one less option.
