Careers Guidance

Hillsview are a member of the Careers & Enterprise Company. Dr Robinson is Senior Leader for CEIAG and Mrs Strathern is our Careers co-ordinator and is Level 6 trained in careers delivery.

Mark Robinson - Vice Principal: mrobinson@hillsviewacademy.org

Suzanne Strathern - Careers Co-ordinator: sstrathern@hillsviewacademy.org

Students receive impartial advice from a Level 6 qualified Careers Advisers and also a range of external providers. We also work in partnership with a range of external providers to deliver a variety of group work sessions to all Year Groups (including Year 6 transition).

1:1 meetings take place with students to discuss a full range of opportunities available to them and students are given an Individual Action Plan to help them stay focused and achieve their goals.

At Hillsview we also have excellent working partnerships with local businesses including Middlesbrough Football Club, High Tide Foundation, PD Ports and Barclays Bank to name but a few.

Measuring impact - we track student progression at age 16 and 18 to measure the impact of our CEIAG programme. The impact of our CEIAG delivery will be measured by the activities and opportunities offered to the students as well as tracking their future destinations and NEETS.
