Interim Standards Board

The overarching responsibility for Governance of the academy lies with the Lift Schools  Board of Trustees. Follow these links for: the Governance Framework of the Trust,  the Articles of Association, Master Funding Agreement and each academy Supplemental Funding Agreement.

Clacton Coastal's Local Governing Body was dissolved on 1 December 2021 and the Trust has put in place an Interim Standards Board (ISB) at Clacton to provide additional support and scrutiny for the school. It is chaired by the Director of Standards & Quality and attendees include the Director of Education, Trust DSL, Regional Education Director, and a Local Authority representative.

The ISB consists of the following members:

Please note: As of 1 December 2021, the ISB will replace the Local Governing Board for purposes of all policies.
