Barton Hill Academy strives to be the engine of opportunity when it comes to music education. Having a specialist music teacher not only allows the children to cover all aspects of the music curriculum but also to give them opportunities above and beyond a standard music education. The music curriculum at Barton Hill Academy inspires a passion for creativity and a love of music. Every child is entitled to a high quality music education that gives them the opportunity to learn to read music, play a variety of musical instruments, listen and watch high quality live music performances, compose their own music and perform to family and peers in and outside of school.
