Infinite limits occur when functions have ASYMPTOTES. The two types of infinite limits we will see are (Vertical Asymptote) or (Horizontal Asymptote).
Limits to infinity, just like all limits, can be evaluated using a table, graph, or algebraically. All three techniques should always yield the SAME answer!
Clarifications: The same rules we know about asymptotes from Algebra II & PC still apply. Vertical Asymptotes occur when a value of a denominator is equal to zero and Horizontal Asymptotes are found by using the Numerator & Denominator Test (BOBO, BOTN, EATS DC).
