Description:
Welcome to AP Calculus! This will be a rigorous, college-level course to bring together all of the concepts you have learned in your previous mathematics classes and to finally start applying them to real-life!
In order to be successful in APC, you must have a strong mastery of the basic concepts from PC. However, due to the time-constraints of the AP exam in May, we have to spend some time in the summer preparing before school begins.
This Summer assignment walks you through the major concepts you will need to master for full success in APC. Each day is approximately 1-2 hours of work, so start this assignment early. The link for each day can be found in the table below.

The right attitude! This is all about your learning, not just "completing an assignment." Engage with the material and make sure you 100% know it before returning to school.
When is this due? Each day has a separate deadline to help keep you on track. The entire assignment is due the first day of orientation.
What should I hand in? Your notebook should be handed in. Your notebook should have a table of contents, and each day should be titled (Examples: S01 – Diagnostic, or Day#1 - Diagnostic), include all notes, and include both the question and answer of the pre quiz questions. All content from the video’s including diagrams and questions should be fully noted in your notebook. If a question or diagram is missing, then it is incomplete. The total number of days is 7: S01-S07.
What if I don't know how to solve a problem or am stuck? Great question! Team AP means that you should reach out to one of your peers first to see if they can help you. We support each other here. If they can't help or aren't available, you should reach out to Ms. Krivca via email.
