AP Calculus AB Exam: Tuesday, MAY 15th, 2018!
Description:
The purpose of this review plan is to make sure you feel 100% prepared on Tuesday, May 9th when you ROCK the AP Calculus AB exam. This plan takes you through a strong reflective process of your overall successes and areas of growth for the year. This plan will take time, so the majority of class between now and the AP exam will be dedicated to completing these review activities. The review is broken up into three parts:
I) Mock Corrections:
First complete your Mock analysis. Your results/ reflections from this will drive how you will spend your time in the upcoming weeks.
II) Focused Review:
During this time, you will be working on very specific review problems. Everyone will complete 2 full years of AP free-response problems AND 30 multiple-choice practice problems. In addition to these two requirements, you will also need to choose to either practice 3 more FR or 20 more MC – this decision will be based upon your growth area.
III) Cumulative Review:
There is a LOT of content on the AP exam and no study plan could be complete without some freshening up of old material. You should spend at least 30 minutes per each unit completing review activities (see below). In addition to the 30 minutes per unit, you will pick TWO units to focus on. These units you will put in double time for and take an assessment on each during the last week of review.
IV) Additional Review: Should be completed in-class or with a peer.
