Notes:
· Infinite limit occurs when functions have a vertical ASYMPTOTE and the answer of the limit results in an infinite answer or DNE.
· Limits at infinity are the ones where x-> infinity and can result in finding the horizontal asymptote, and just like all limits they can be evaluated using a table, graph, or algebraically. All three techniques should always yield the SAME answer!
· Clarifications: The same rules we know about asymptotes from Algebra II & PC still apply. Vertical Asymptotes occur when a value of a denominator is equal to zero and Horizontal Asymptotes are found by using the Numerator & Denominator Test (BOBO, BOTN, EATS DC).
