AP Calc and ECE Calc Summer Homework
Description:
Welcome to AP Calculus/ECE Calculus I and II! This will be a rigorous, college-level course to bring together all of the concepts you have learned in your previous mathematics classes and to finally start applying them to real-life!
In order to be successful in APC or ECE Calc I and II, you must have a strong mastery of the basic concepts from PC. However, due to the time-constraints of the AP exam in May and the fast pace of ECE Calc I and II, we have to spend some time in the summer preparing before school begins.
This summer assignment walks you through the major concepts you will need to master for full success in APC or ECE Calc. There are 7 days of work to complete and each day is approximately 1-2 hours of work, so start this assignment early. The link for each day can be found in the table below.

6. The right attitude! This is all about your learning, not just "completing an assignment." Engage with the material and make sure you 100% know it before returning to school.
When is this due? Each day has a separate deadline to help keep you on track. Reference the table above for the exact due dates.
What should I hand in? Submit pictures of your work for each day in Google Classroom fallowing the directions given in Google Classroom.
Other notes: Your notebook should have a table of contents, and each day should be titled (Example: Day#1 - Diagnostic), include all notes, and include both the question and answer of the pre quiz questions. All content from the video’s including diagrams and questions should be fully noted in your notebook. If a question or diagram is missing, then it is incomplete.
What if I don't know how to solve a problem or am stuck? Great question! Team AP means that you should reach out to one of your peers first to see if they can help you. We support each other here. If they can't help or aren't available, you should reach out to Ms. Krivca via email.
