Submit sends the prints images for processing (just the fingerprint images). In this case, with AB as the channeler, ABLE-X sends the prints to Accurate Biometrics. Prints cannot be submitted unless the transaction is fully completed for the print type (all fingerprints, photo, signature, required demographics, etc).
Save does not Submit the prints AB. You can save a print that is missing required data such as prints, photos, and pick up where you left off at a later time. Example: something is missing or you are having issues with a computer peripheral such as the signature pad or scanner and do not want to lose the work that you completed.
Submit sends the print images
Sync (over VPN) sends AB all other data such as the demographic information entered.
You can edit demographic data and make changes without contacting us as long as you did not sync by using the Applicant edit tab.
One scenario is to review the data entered for the day, look for typos/mistakes, and correct them before you sync.
AB takes the prints submitted and the data synced, processes them on our store and forward servers, and sends it off to the relevant agencies. AB cannot fully process a transaction unless the prints were submitted AND the data was synced.
When taking fingerprints, you can annotate a finger for missing or partial fingers. You can also remove an annotation.
Right click the finger box, hover over “Annotate”, and select the appropriate annotation.
After taking fingerprints, you can recapture a single finger or set of flats if needed.
Right click the finger box, hover over “Capture”, and select the appropriate type.
Flats are in the bottom row only and the rest of the prints should be rolls.
