Use genuine Canon cartridge for best quality and less issues

Black cartridge = #35

Color cartridge = #36

Lift the front lid to expose the cartridge when the printer is powered on

The printer head will move to the center

Push the tab and lift the ink tank to remove. 

Do not touch other parts besides the ink tanks. 

On the new cartridge, remove the orange protective cover prior to installing

Insert the front end of the ink tank into the print head at an angle.

Press the PUSH mark on the ink tank until the ink tank snaps firmly into place.

Make sure that the ink lamp lights up.
