Supporting children and young people during the Covid-19 pandemic


It is important to talk to children and young people about Covid-19. They are likely seeing and hearing things through the media and may be feeling anxious. Check-in with what they already know and start from there. Children need clear information and reassurance that they are safe. They do not need too many unnecessary details, but open discussions should be encouraged.
